A Mixed Bag in ThirskDuring my recent stay at this cottage in Thirsk, I found the location to be its standout feature-just a stone's throw from the bustling market square. the village itself offers a relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of amenities nearby. the cottage could use some TLC. the kitchen, while equipped with basic utensils and an electric kettle, felt damp, and upon arrival, it was clear that the cleaning hadn't been thorough. Dog hairs were scattered around, and cobwebs hung in corners, which left me a bit unsettled. On the flip side, the provision of Wi-Fi, Netflix, and an Amazon speaker made for an enjoyable entertainment experience. the sitting area was clean and comfortable, providing a great spot to unwind, though the sound of nearby retail activity could be a bit disruptive in the mornings. While the cottage has potential, it requires more attention to detail. With a few improvements, it could be a charming getaway for future travelers. Would I return? Possibly, thanks to the excellent location.
